Case Study: BREEAM ‘Excellent’ Rated Development
Ropetackle, a Berkeley Homes development in Shoreham-by-the-Sea, was the flagship scheme at the heart of the Shoreham Maritime regeneration project, lead by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA). The project is an example of a wholly sustainable development and achieved an ‘Excellent’ rating from BREEAM, the international environmental assessment for buildings.
Demanding the highest quality waterproofing systems and flat warm roof constructions, Berkeley Homes turned to Polyroof to provide the solutions. The Polyroof 185 system was used as part of a warm roof construction for the flat roof areas, and the Protec system was used to waterproof roof areas that were of a concrete deck construction.
